Different technical tours will be offered on Thursday, 18th of October, 2012 during ISHS Lightsym2012.
All tours will combine a visit at a research facility, a modern Dutch grower with a high degree of automation and/or artificial lighting and a tourist attraction. Each tour will visit a different region of The Netherlands.

Visit Wageningen UR Greenhouse Horticulture research facilities in Bleiswijk (relevant greenhouse experiments, Innovation- and Demo Centrum);
Visit large vegetable grower using LED technology;
Visit new water way storm surge barrier Maeslantkering

Visit Wageningen UR Greenhouse Horticultural lab facilities in Wageningen (optical labs, electricity producing greenhouse);
Visit modern potplant grower with artificial lighting and high degree of automation;
Visit Park Hoge Veluwe with the famous Kröller Müller arts museum

Visit technical company’s research facilities (LED, photovoltaics);
Visit modern vegetable grower with artificial lighting;
Visit botanical garden Kasteeltuinen Arcen
