The symposium will be held in Wageningen, The Netherlands. The Netherlands is well known for its innovative horticultural sector, with 10.000 ha of modern greenhouse production.
Wageningen, often called the City of Life Sciences, is a small city of 36.000 inhabitants. About 8.000 scientists at the university and research institutes work here every day in the field of food and life sciences. Another 5.000 students determine the living sphere in Wageningen.
The symposium will be held in the Forum building, centrally located on the Wageningen UR Campus and only a short distance from the city centre of Wageningen.
